Two weeks after Ken Ullyot was hired as the Komet’s head coach in 1958 he brought in his former business manager from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, to be the business manager of the Komets.

Colin Lister came to Fort Wayne prior to the 1958-59 season and mastered his job quickly and later became a stockholder in the Komets. In the early 80’s, after enjoying 3 Turner Cup Championships with the Komets, Colin became majority owner of the club until he sold the team in the summer of 1985.

Through his 26 years of direct involvement with the Komets Colin was involved in every aspect of Komet hockey management and it’s representation in the community.

Colin resides in Fort Wayne and continues to inspire athletes throughout the area with his involvement in local hockey and baseball.
