George Drysdale played only three seasons with the Komets but became is a vital part of Komet history and the Fort Wayne community.  George was forced to retire after only his third season in Fort Wayne because of an illness. Mr. Drysdale never left the Fort Wayne community and with the exception of radio rinkside broadcaster Bob Chase, George Drysdale has probably seen more Komets games than anyone.  George Drysdale was inducted to the Komets Hall of Fame in 2002.
